Restorative dentistry is an all-inclusive approach to diagnosis, treatment, and management of oral problems. Ideally, restorative dentistry brings together proficiency in periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other areas to restore function and esthetics. This advanced level of multi-faceted care is what Rocky Mountain Dental & Surgical Center is all about.
We work closely with you to provide results that beautify the smile, restore oral function, and foster whole-body wellness.
Fillings
A dental filling is a restorative procedure that repairs teeth damaged by decay. In some cases, enamel loss can cause a tooth to become sensitive or structurally compromised and dental filling are needed to restore the health of the tooth. Dr. Wells is trained in many forms of restorative materials and can customize your restoration to fit your specific needs.
Crowns
A crown is typically used to restore a tooth’s function and appearance following a restorative procedure such as a root canal or when decay in a tooth has become so advanced that large portions of the tooth must be removed or has structurally failed. Crowns are also used to attach bridges, cover implants, prevent a cracked tooth from becoming worse, or may also serve an esthetic use, and are applied when a discolored or stained tooth needs to be restored to its natural appearance.
Fixed dental prosthesis (bridges)
Bridges are natural-looking dental appliances that can replace a section of missing teeth. Because they are custom-made, bridges are barely noticeable and can restore the natural contour of teeth as well as the proper bite relationship between upper and lower teeth.
